On April 19th 2019, Rabidfest hosted the first of its showcase gigs of 2019 at the Wheasheaf, Oxford. We saw local band Doomtrodon open the show with 30 minutes of high intensity, ear-splitting tunes. Sporting a new vocalist for his first gig with the band, they shook the very foundations of the building. Next on the lineup is Villainous. The prog-metal band from Brighton are also on the 2019 festival lineup but we couldn't wait for them to come to Oxford, and we weren't disappointed. If you missed their set, you'll be able to catch it again in August! Our headliner for the night was local legends, 2017 Bloodstock's M2TM Winners - K-Lacura. We were treated to their first gig of 2019 and it didn't disappoint! Mixed with some old favourites, they unleashed some new material that had the entire venue rockin!
