We are ecstatic to announce the Sunday headliner for Rabidfest 2024: Viscera!
Hot off the heels of their sophomore release ‘Carcinogenisis’ in 2023, Deathcore supergroup Viscera will set their sights on The Bullingdon, Oxford this November.
Featuring former members of Heart of a Coward, Sylosis, Martyr Defiled and Nervecell - Viscera are the epitome of heavy, and a powerhouse of today’s extreme music. With blistering riffs, earth-scarring vocals, and melodies that would move even the most hardened of metallers to scream along - we cannot wait for what will be an era-defining set in Rabidfest’s history.
Viscera join Evile as headliners of Rabidfest 2024 - and we couldn’t be more psyched to have two of the modern scene’s most exciting behemoths lay waste to Oxford this November. And our new line-up additions don’t end there…
DAMAGED REICH - After tearing down The Jericho Tavern at Bangers and Thrash last September, Oxford Thrash Metal Icons Damaged Reich securing their slot on the Saturday’s Devolution Stage later this year at The Bullingdon. The four-piece thrashers are synonymous with the local scene, and we can’t wait to welcome them back to a Rabidfest stage.
AS THE WORLD DIES - From the spiritual home of Death Metal, emerge As The World Dies. Birmingham’s riff-machine quintet will be making their Rabidfest debut this November - so prepare ready for a brutal assault on the Devolution Stage on the Saturday, as we witness an exercise in old-school, face-ripping metal.
RATS EAT RATS - Oxford’s own Modern Rockers Rats Eat Rats will be opening Saturday’s Devolution Stage. And with a recent killer set at The Jericho to close out 2023, exciting things are on the horizon for this young outfit - including a much anticipated set this coming November.
And of course, we’ll also be joined at Rabidfest 2024 by; Cloven Hoof, Fury, Recall The Remains, Voidwalker, Eschalon, EXISTENTIALIST, Draconian Reign, IMPERIUM and From Her Ashes across the weekend.
Proceeds of Rabidfest 2024 will be donated to The Sophie Lancaster Foundation - a cause who’s work resonates across metal and alt communities across the UK, for which we’re truly proud to once again support.
